Wow! We make those but FRY them in good oil inside a Dutch Oven. ( same as you would fry Fried Chicken, etc) The thing is that it requires too much oil and is a Labor of Love and intensive but is worthwhile if done well. ( simply stick SEASONED hamburger on one side.. it wont come off or fall apart) The thing is i really like this idea …and it looks healthier compared to fried. Also looks like a Cleaner and easier way to prepare. I look forward to trying this in the Oven next time.
We never put beans in Tacos because it would be a mess to fry as it would desinergrate and fall out but this looks like it works and still delicious. We add shredded iceberg lettuce and a delicious homemade red tomato salsa/ taco sauce and Sprinkle more shredded cheddar cheese on top. By the way, those ( looked canned) refried pinto Beans are good on even heated in microwave with the cheese as it melted into beans served on side ( i like the sour cream) ❤🎉 Thanks for Sharing
