  1. man, and I thought my mom always added a lot of spice when she cooked
    we would always at least double the amount of spices the recipe called for (just because she liked her baked goods to be spicier) but it never added up to more than a tablespoon, maybe two, of any given spice
    that is A LOT of cinnamon

  3. Ok so the bakery I worked at made cinnamon bun rolls and the first thing the head baker made was the butter. He whipped in a mixer sweet cream salted butter with sugar and cinnamon to taste. As in enough to make it delectable but not potent. Then he chilled it while rolling out the dough. He spread it like cream cheese on the dough thinly not thick. I have no idea where this recipe came from but it's totally bunk.
