Ok so the bakery I worked at made cinnamon bun rolls and the first thing the head baker made was the butter. He whipped in a mixer sweet cream salted butter with sugar and cinnamon to taste. As in enough to make it delectable but not potent. Then he chilled it while rolling out the dough. He spread it like cream cheese on the dough thinly not thick. I have no idea where this recipe came from but it's totally bunk.
For the filling- 1/4 cup softened butter, 1/3 cup light brown sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Either the recipe you looked at had a typo or you read it wrong.
is it a possibility that this was made around the time where the capitalisation of "tbs" wasnt standardized? or perhaps that was just a mixup? or is it actually written out as a word in the recipe
Geez how much did all that cinnamon cost? I would imagine you needed more than one container unless you went to like a bulk buy store.

That had to be a typo for the ingredient amounts. That’s my only explanation for how that much cinnamon was in that recipe.

I would like it I think. But, high sugar and high cinnamon are a special taste.
Cinnamon can be toxic in some forms. There are some truly EVIL craft videos that tell you to add it to soap. DON’T do it!
I tried doubling the filling on a normal recipe and even that was too much…
I'm curious what yall do with the left overs? I can't imagine some of these recipes being reused in other dishes

you should definently try the pumpkin spice sugar cookies from taste of home… those things are one of the worst cookies I've ever had

Cinnamon rolls should have some brown sugar, not just white sugar. This is enough filling for 50 rolls. 😂
Cinnamon helps your body regulate sugar, so many diabetics take cinnamon capsules, & use a lot of it in coffee, etc. This is unbelievable though. 😂
