Sweend and Sour Pork Ribs:
500 g ribs
wash off the blood 3x
5 tbs Chinese cooking wine
2 tbs light soy
2 tbs black vinegar
2 tbs sugar
water to cover the ribs
2 tbsp dark soy
8 tbsp caramelized sugar (optional)
1 start anise
1 cinammon stick
spring onions
ginger
40 minutes, low flames
reduce it on high flames
+ 3 tbsp vinegar
Lovely; one of my childhood favorites. Unfortunately I don't eat candy anymore.
