I love making the Snickerdoodles with butter flavored shortening!
So a quick vinegar story. I was having a conversation about balsamic vinegar with a friend who had never had real balsamic vinegar before. I was gushing about how good it was and it piqued his interest. A few days later this guy shows up with several hundred dollars worth of balsamic vinegar in the most beautiful and unique bottles. And we had a vinegar tasting party. 🤣🤣🤣 We really did sit around and drink vinegar out of shot glasses. And there was so much of it we repeated the event a couple more times. To this day I have dreams about the wild week of sipping vinegar with my friend. Good times.
I absolutely love that corned beef recipe, but can I skip the mustard and beer? I don't like grainy mustard because of its texture and flavor, and I definitely do not like beer.

I've made my own corned beef for decades. I add juniper berries to the brine and for cooking, it just gives it that perfect flavor.
