Dr. Joel Fuhrman is an American board-certified family physician who specializes in nutrition-based treatments for obesity and chronic disease. This is Dr. Fuhrman’s got greens EXTRA green smoothie recipe, so there’s NO QUESTION it’s a nutritious powerhouse! We absolutely love the creamy rich texture (not to mention satiating healthy fat) the avocado provides. The pineapple and kiwi and of course banana give Dr Fuhrman’s green smoothie such a tropical taste, you will wish you were drinking it on a warm beach somewhere. If kiwi is not in season, we recommend substituting with 1 cup of strawberries and the juice of one lime, which has tons of cleansing qualities as well. Make sure to subscribe for new updates of Dr. Fuhrman recipes! 🙂

Nice job. I am paranoid about using spinach often in my diet because it can contribute to stones. Other greens would work well too. And do not forget the cooked mushrooms… lol… Thanks
looking good
Would love to learn more
Love the recipe… video just ok.
Funny thing is…that's my normal smoothie! But I haven't put avocado in that mix before. Interesting!
Recipe sounds great! I will have to try it. I normally use spinach, banana, blueberry, yogurt, water for my go to smoothie.
Have everything except for the kiwi…hmm…
Love smoothies! Would love a smoothie recipe book!
This looks good, just need to get a blender. After watching this, I can see how much easier it would be than using the nutrabullet.
will I lose a lot of benefit if I use water instead of coconut water?
PS Bikini Woman is MUCH easier to watch than Dr. Fuhrman; his PBS show is pretty tortuous.
This looks good! I've just started adding pineapple to my smoothies and they are delicious! 🙂
Yum!! I'd use frozen fruit, so I can use less ice.
looks healthy!
Sounds good, might have to try this one.
im going make that smoothie!
This looks good; I'm hoping the pineapple and banana will be the dominant flavors so I can get others in my family to drink it as well!
Always looking for new smoothie recipes! Thanks!

Love Dr Fuhrman, and this smoothie looks delish!
This smoothie looks good, but that spinach is definitely not 960 grams as it says in the ingredient list to the left.
