Pronounced: fee low – get the Athens fillo as the Apollo is always crumbly as soon as it comes out of the bag. I know l am Greek.

Although I would probally skip the applesause. I might like to try with my own fresh apples like you make for a pie. And, yes is pronounced like Fee – Low . Phyllo means leaf in Greek. In Greek the Ph sounds like an F then y as an ee sound with two LL and an o.
