  1. I've been making your Barbacoa recipe with beef cheeks from HEB for more than two years using the slow cooker function on my instant pot and it has always come out perfectly. Even better or equally as good as anything I've bought in H-Town taquerias. Making some right now for tomorrow morning. Thank you for such a simple easy recipe. 😊😋

  2. Hola I have a question so I been making this for good while iv been told not to put water then iv been told that it needs it Set my question is do I have to put water in it? Because I've tried it with water and without water. Also put foil on it no foil needed Sometimes it comes out OKI think one of time. It came out pretty good but every time. It does not come out the same. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. This is my favorite meat. So I'm trying to get it just right like you said. Childhood memories, my Grandpa used to do this. He would do a cow head in the ground. Well, thank you for show me that and if you can get back to me. Give me some kind of ideas I appreciate it. Thank you.

  3. Thank you once again Simply Mama! My boyfriend made a pot of menudo yesterday and I told him we have to try this slow cooker barbacoa to go along with it for Sunday Breakfast. So we just set it up in the Crockpot! Got some avocado, diced onions, cilantro and salsa all ready for the AM !!!!
