Easy BISTEK TAGALOG FILIPINO BEEF STEAK Recipe Close to Bulgogi #Shorts

BISTEK TAGALOG OR BEEF STEAK
Ingredients:
2 pounds beef (rib eye, top sirloin) sliced thinly
1 large onion (sliced into rings, separate the heart to be chopped for sauteing)
8 cloves garlic (chopped)
2 tablespoons olive oil

For the sauce:
¼ cup soy sauce (low sodium if preferred)
1/3 cup water
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon BBQ sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1-1/2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (if not available, substitute with lemon or calamansi juice)
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1 tablespoon honey or sugar (optional but worth a try)
a serving of love and a smile 🙂

Optional:
1 stalk green onion
Slurry: 1 cup water and 2 tablespoons cornstarch
