As I was baking them, I was using the printed out version. In the list of ingredients it says add ½ teaspoon of baking powder, but I the written instructions it says add baking soda. Is that an error?

I made these the day I saw the video. Wish we could post photos. They turned out looking just like John's. Absolutely delish. I beat the sugar and eggs for 2 minutes by a timer so they were well incorporated. I am a food scale convert thanks to John.

Pulling batches out of the oven now. I made mine a little larger so had to add 4 minutes (my oven sucks to so I think that’s part of it) wow. They are amazing!

Why chop the chocolate bar so finely when you are melting it anyway?
I have made these cookie abt a dozen times! Somehow they come out a different shape and texture everytime but that doesn’t matter to me because they come out delicious and crowdpleasing every time as well. Sometimes I add spice powders or instant coffee, other times mini m&ms or freeze dried berries; they are so adaptable!
