– 1 Onion ( Finely Chopped ) 🧅
– 1 Green onion ( Chopped )
– 4 Cloves of Garlic ( Chopped or Grated ) 🧄
– 2 Large Tomatoes ( Blended or Grated )🍅
– A Handful of Parsley ( Chopped ) ☘️
– Minced Chicken Breast
– 1 Egg🥚
– Salt
– Black Pepper
– Cumin
– Turmeric
– Paprika
– Coriander Powder
– 2 Tbsp Bread Crumbs ( Add More if Needed )
– 1 Bay Leaf 🌿
– Oil
💡 Tips :
– Use part of the onion, garlic, and green onion in the chicken mixture and the rest in the sauce for a consistent flavor.
– If the mixture feels too soft, add more bread crumbs until it holds together.
– Lightly oil your hands when shaping the balls to prevent sticking.
– Simmer the meatballs on low heat in the sauce so they stay juicy and soak up the tomato flavor.
– Lightly fry the meatballs before adding them to the sauce it helps them hold their shape and adds extra flavor.
