Ingredients for Chicken Parmesan (4 servings):
►1 1/2 lbs (2 large) chicken breаsts cut in half for 4 cutlets
►1/2 cup all-purpose flour
►1 tsp salt, or to taste
►1/2 tsp black pepper, or to taste
►2 large eggs beaten until frothy
►1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
►1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
►2 Tbsp extra light olive oil to sauté or as needed
►24 oz marinara sauce
►4 oz mozzarella cheese (1 cup shredded)
Easy Homemade Marinara Sauce (3 cups):
►2 Tbsp olive oil
► 1/2 medium yellow onion
►3 garlic cloves, minced
► 28 oz crushed tomatoes:
► 1/2 tsp dried oregano
► 1/2 tsp salt
► 1/4 tsp black pepper
► 1 Tbsp basil or parsley, finely minced

I love your recipes and always default to your videos! I want to make this for my mom but she is allergic to onions and garlic which unfortunately makes foods harder to flavor. What else could I use for the sauce so that it is not bland?

I'm Italian in Italy but we don't make this dish.If we make pasta it is separate from second dish. Here the pasta is white dry stick together under the chicken.Sorry make them separate and make the pasta with a sauce not as a bed for the chicken
