Easy Dinner Rolls Recipe:

Maida – 2 ½ Cups
Milk – ½ Cup
Sugar – 2 tbsp
Instant Yeast – 1 ¼ tsp
Egg – 1 no
Salt – ½ tsp
Butter (melted) – ¼ Cup + 3 tbsp
Egg (beaten) – 1 no

Cooking Instructions:

1. In a bowl, combine the milk, sugar, yeast, butter, and egg.

2. Mix the salt with the flour in a large bowl. Make a well in the centre.

3. Add in the wet mixture. Mix it using a wooden spoon until it forms a shaggy dough.

4. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead until smooth.

5. Cover with a moist cloth and rest for 1 hour.

6. Divide the dough into individual portions. Cover again and rest for 20 minutes.

7. Brush the dough balls gently with egg wash.

8. Bake at 180 c in a preheated oven for 20 minutes.

9. While still warm, brush with melted butter.

Cooking Tips:

1. You can also saute some finely chopped garlic in butter, on low heat. This can be applied to the bread to get garlic flavoured dinner rolls.
