RECIPE!
Inspired by
Ingredients
– 4 thick cut pork chops
– 1/2 tsp paprika
– 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
– 1/2 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
– Olive oil
1. In a bowl, combine spices (paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, black pepper and salt)
2. Rub the pork chops in the spices.
3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium/high heat. When the oil is hot, add the pork chops. Cook for about 3-5 minutes each side or until they are browned. Once they are browned, add a tablespoon of brown sugar to each pork chop. Turn each pork chop over, so both sides get some melted brown sugar. (Don’t add the brown sugar too early or else the sugar will burn and smoke up the room.)
4. Bake at 350˚F/ 175˚C for 15 minutes, to make sure the pork chops are cooked through.
5. Before serving, pour the glaze that’s formed in the pan over the chops. Serve with your vegetables of choice. All Tasty music provided by Audio Network and Warner Chappell Inc. Used with permission

"OMG kitchen will be destroyed" xD
Making this tonight on Halloween night
Guys, I dont have an oven-safe skillet. If I transfer the pork from the skillet to a pan and bake it, will it still be fine?
This is kinda an urgent question
I tried this and I changed the cayenne pepper to cumin and this turned out amazing! It was still spicy, but a bit more palatable for those who don’t want to use cayenne (though the cayenne version was amazing too!)
Omg so spicy owww i cri
Finally, something I’m actually not lazy enough to make

CAN U ADD THE TOTAL SEASONING MEASUREMENTS FOR ALL THE PORKCHOPS THAT SHIT WAS SO AGGRAVATING WHEN I WAS SEASONING THAT SHIT 🤦♀️SO EXTRA THATS ONE REASON I DIDNT LIKE FOLLOWING THIS RECIPE I HAD TO LITERALLY RE-PUT 1TSP OF THE SEASONINGS FOR EVERY PORKCHOP, I HAD 3 TO MAKE SO I MEAN WHY NOT JUST ADD THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF SEASONINGS AS ONE WHOLE BATCH FOR ALL THE DAMN PORKCHOPS IM SORRY BRUH I CANT BE THE ONLY ONE THAT GOT FRUSTRATED BOUT THIS other than that it was good 😒😭
Im guessing a high temp fry oil is best. A few tablespoons of peanut, canola or vegetable oil. What oil was used here in the cast iron?
Good!
