Ingredients:
1 lb all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
1 cup water, and ½ cup warm
1 pc egg, beaten
1 oz unsalted butter, melted
2 tbsp active dry yeast
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tbsp caraway seeds, plus more for sprinkling
2 tsp salt
Olive oil for greasing

0:10 In a small bowl, combine ½ cup of warm water, yeast, and sugar. Stir until dissolved, cover, and set aside. Allow the yeast to activate for roughly 30 minutes.
0:26 While waiting, sift together your flour and salt in a large mixing bowl.
0:35 Add your caraway seeds, then stir to combine.
0:40 Make a well at the center, then pour the activated yeast, remaining water, and butter. Fold the flour until a dough is formed.
1:03 Dust your working area with flour, then place your dough on it. Knead for roughly 8 to 10 minutes until a smooth dough is achieved.
1:18 Grease a mixing bowl with oil and place the dough. Cover and set it aside in a warm area. Allow your dough to rise for roughly an hour.

1:46 Dust your working area once again with flour. Knock the dough back, then place your risen dough onto your working area.
