This is the Instant Pot I have (yes it is the cheaper one and I love it!):

If you are cooking for 1-2 people I would suggest the 3 Quart. If you are cooking for more, I would suggest the 6 quart!

  1. Great recipe! Beef was nice and tender. Noodles were perfect. I added 2 tbsp of catsup when I added the Worcestershire sauce. It adds a hint of a traditional stroganoff flavor. Thanks for posting!

  5. I finally broke down and bought an IP! This recipe was the first thing I made. It was excellent! Everyone in the house loved it. I combined stew meat with short ribs. I accidentally bought the short ribs but they were great! Also used an au jus seasoning packet, a cup of Cabernet, and cream of mushroom soup instead of sour cream. Thanks again!

  6. I made this with elk stew meat. My husband loved it & asked me to keep this recipe. I cooked it for 10 minutes instead of 12. Quick Release, then 4 minute noodles & it was perfect, perfect, perfect! Even @ a high altitude.
