Anyone know an adequate substitute for sour cream? Buttermilk maybe? I don't know why but sour cream smells so vile to me I start vomiting can't cook with it. I know the cake won't taste like sour cream at all, but it feels wasteful to me to buy an ingredient I'd need a mask to cook with and throw out the leftover container outside.
My grandmother's 90th birthday cake was lemon blueberry and she died a few months later. I will forever associate this cake with my grandma

Help. What did I do? My frosting and blueberry mixture split when I mixed it by hand. Like tiny white and red/blue pebbles. It did finally get together after I whipped it with the stand mixer.
