  1. Anyone know an adequate substitute for sour cream? Buttermilk maybe? I don't know why but sour cream smells so vile to me I start vomiting can't cook with it. I know the cake won't taste like sour cream at all, but it feels wasteful to me to buy an ingredient I'd need a mask to cook with and throw out the leftover container outside.

  2. I love that you give measurements in grams as well. I very much prefer to cook using weight instead of volume because it is so much more accurate. Also appreciate that you often talk about why ingredients are used, very informative for newbies like myself.
