What a waste of flour, and more work than just washing your hands! You can do better ATK.
Why waste flour? And you put the mess back in the flour. 🤔 think soap and water first because you still need to wash your hands.
Flour is $4-$6 a bag. A plastic dough scraper is what I use to quickly get the bulk off then a vigorous washing up to get the last bits off.
Just say use flour leftover from table where you rolled out dough. You have created more mess.. just wash your hands, you have to anyway. I am not sure these advent ideas were though out well… or late in the day after an evening cocktail.

Just use a dough scraper. Scrape the excess off for your hands and into the rest of the dough, then wash your hands. As long as you wash promptly it’s no big deal. Don’t waste good flour.

Or just rub a little olive oil on your hands before working with dough. Prevents dough sticking and helps moisturize your skin at the same time!
How about wearing some disposable gloves when working with sticky dough?
Nah, makes much more sense to waste time and a bowl full of flour.
Hmm…in order to use the remaining “dirty” flour (rather than waste it), one would need to sift it, thus producing more dishes that need washing; I think I’ll just wash my hands.
Why do so many people feel the need to be such disagreeable critics ?
