  1. I have a Cuisinart Food & Beverage 2 Speed Blender & so far, it hasn’t given me any problems.

No it doesn’t have the same power or features as the VitaMix but, it blasts through smoothies like a hot knife!

I will eventually get either a VitaMix (which I hope God will bless me with in a couple of years) or a Breville!

  2. I realize this is specifically about blenders, but when mentioning good reasons for not using the blender to grind coffee– the most important reason is that a burr grinder gives a superior grind because it creates more surfaces on the ground coffee and allows more flavor to be extracted, whereas a blade grinder or blender just chops the beans.

  3. Wow, these viewers really are just narcissistic and want to see their personal uses instead of a standard-bearing test. Even if you don't drink smoothies, you can see how the consistency of different kinds of food, especially combined, demonstrates viscosity, density and particle size. They're really out here like "do milkshakes" because they're simple-minded, nevermind that you can't see anything through the texture.

  4. Hello, thank you for letting me comment on your channel. As I mention before the important part and life of a blender is the gears, most are hard plastic you will need to get one with metal gears. That's just one good advice. 🤟 😉

  5. I have an older Ninja Master Prep Food Processor/blender that has done ‘ok’. I’m Leary of going to another Ninja product due to the plastic gear connection in the top motor. Mine has worn severely and takes patience to get it to match up so it will work now. I’m in serious need of a new blender but don’t have $500 and am still undecided. You can’t view the connections in the store.

  6. I'm considering getting the Vitamix immersion blender because I don't do enough blending or have sufficient space in my kitchen to justify a high end blender, but I do enough things with my immersion blender that I can justify the cost of that. I currently use a cheap immersion blender, which has worked well for the things I've asked it to do, but I haven't asked it to do much. Have you reviewed the Vitamix immersion blender and, if so, where?

  7. My blender just went out early this summer. It was a wedding gift from my cousin and her husband 32 years ago. I replaced it with a combination blender/food processor. Don’t think this will last that long!

  8. Again with the Blendtec hate. What's the deal? My Blendtec will produce a very even snow from ice in no time with no effort. You must be doing it wrong. Are you adding water or something? Because the Blendtec doesn't require water for ice crush and specifies not to use it. The older four-side jar will occasionally leave a little chunk, but the Wildside jar almost never produces anything but an even snow.

As I pointed out in the last video, Vitamix tried to copy Blendtec's Wildside jar and got the pants sued off them for patent infringement. If their blenders weren't a good design, why did their primary competitor try to rip them off? Why do most coffee shops and smoothie shops use the commercial Blendtec model instead of Vitamix's offering?

I usually have a lot of respect for ATK, but I feel like you have some kind of ingrained bias against Blendtec. I've had mine for over a decade and it's miles better than any other blender I've used and has outlasted them. I'm sure the Vitamix is great, too, given their reputation. With the possible sole exception of the Vitamix maybe not fitting under my cabinets (they have that reputation), I'm sure I'd be just as happy with it.

  9. We have the Ninja Foodie Blender, the one that comes with the main large container, the “smoothie bowl” container and the personal cup. We got it last February and it is fantastic! It is load and the air coming out from the bottom could blow anything loose off your counter (kidding), but my gosh is it powerful and we love the auto options for smoothies and dough and so many other things.

  10. I completely agree buy 2 grinders one for spice and one for coffee, if you're roasting and grinding your own beans you don't want anything interfering with the flavor. You can totally taste it especially in the morning (when your taste buds are at peak performance, maybe that's just me lol)!

  11. Thanks, Lisa! I have to say, I bought a Ninja blender with 3 jars and an interchangeable power pod that I really like. Boy, can it crush ice and make smoothies. The smallest jar is perfect for chopping onions and pickles to make a quick tartar sauce. The one gripe I have is that it takes up so much space to store.

  12. Lisa, thank you for the facts on incredible blenders. I'm searching out a very good blender; when I move into my new place. Black n Decker with the glass jar you said is a great one. I will try to find one. The ninja blenders were one of my favorite blenders, I use to have years in the past.
