It’s not too often that testing a product leaves Chef Tony pleasantly surprised, but that was the case with his Everdure HUB II charcoal grill review. And, well, after checking out on his findings for ourselves, we can’t blame our resReviewident grill expert. The Everdure HUB II delivers in all phases with a reimagined charcoal grill that’s still shockingly intuitive and easy to use. That’s no more evident than in the electronic control panel, a truly stunning feature that gives the user effortless control over the ignition system and integrated rotisserie. (Speaking of stunning, Chef Tony has plenty of great things to say about Everdure’s patent-pending rotisserie.) The thoughtful features go on and on, but we also took time to spotlight the HUB II charcoal grill’s premium quality and high degree of performance. Chef Tony dishes on all those juicy details, from actual measurements of certain grill components to his cook sessions that revealed a great deal about the Everdure HUB II’s grilling power. The only thing in this charcoal grill review that didn’t surprise us? Chef Tony’s charming on-screen presence, of course!

Chef Tony Matassa grew up in the restaurant business, starting in his family’s New Orleans eatery before running one of his own. No wonder he has such vast knowledge of and passion for food science, which he puts to use every day as our jack-of-all-trades (and master of many). Longtime fans of the channel know Tony has been testing grills for more than 10 years, though we’re partial to his performance in our recent Grillabilities℠ series.

Does the lid act for keeping heat in like a regular grill
I purchased a Hub II grill and there is a problem with the rotisserie. It pauses about 2 seconds in the same location on every rotation and then continues. This might not sound like much of an issue but it causes whatever I am cooking to overcook or burn in the area that faces the fire when it pauses. I contacted Everdure via email and they responded via email and promised to repair it. Six months have passed and they have not sent a tech to repair it. They stopped responding to my emails. Don't bother calling the customer service number. They don't answer and never return a call. BBQ Guys has since refunded my purchase price (thank you!) But I still have a rossierie that does not work.
8:16 rotisserie farks 😆
How practically is the grill during winter since the grill doesn’t have a lid? And what about grilling in windy environment?
Is there another type of bbq like this anywhere else?
Dude best review, so thorough!
He's back!
Looks cool but it's pretty gimmicky and when it comes down to the outrageous price, it is only a box for your charcoal with a rotisserie attachment. great review nonetheless, subscribed!
A+ for space/utility inefficiency.
Love this whole design, but question the chrome plated grills over stainless. Also I think the cabinet would have benefited from stainless instead of powder coat
I can see someone really liking this if your preferred method is rotisserie. Other than that, i can't justify the price or purpose of this thing. It probably sounded really cool on paper and final product is kinda meh😕
Should have made the grill or charcoal tray height adjustable.
Would have loved to see a "How To Clean", section of this review.
This has gotta be the best review of a rotisserie ive ever seen! Thank you!
Only downside I can see is that you cannot cover it and thus do not have an oven function for larger pieces of meat.
33 lbs might be from the 15 kg Europe
Is this an upgraded version of the hub?
I love BBQ guys
Looking forward hopefully to mine arriving soon.
I’ve been wanting to buy this for so long. Amazing review, thank you !!!
Nothing about price?
