Filipino Beef Salpicao
Ingredients:
– 500g (1 lb) beef tenderloin or sirloin, cut into bite-sized cubes
– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– Oyster sauce
– 1 teaspoon sugar
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil (for marinating)
– 1/4 cup olive oil or vegetable oil (for cooking)
– 8 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tablespoon butter
– Garlic rice to serve
Instructions:
1. Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sugar, black pepper, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix well, then add the beef cubes and marinate for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour.
2. Prepare the Garlic: Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and add 1/4 cup of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic. Once done, remove the garlic from the oil using a slotted spoon and set aside. Keep the garlic-infused oil in the pan.
3. Cook the Beef: In the same skillet with the garlic-infused oil, turn the heat to high. Add the marinated beef cubes and sear for about 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is cooked through but still tender. Make sure not to overcook the beef.
4. Add Butter and Finish: Lower the heat to medium, then add the butter to the pan. Stir until the butter is melted and coats the beef evenly. Return the crispy garlic to the skillet and mix well.
5. Garnish and Serve with garlci rice

Andy you gotta make Filipino Bistec. Super easy to make. All you need to do is marinate thin sliced steak in soy sauce and lemon for about one hour in the fridge. Over night is better. Then cut an onion into rings. Fry the steak for 2 minutes on each side and remove. After frying the steak, boil the leftover marinade in the same pan for about 5 minutes and turn off the heat. Place the steak back into the sauce. Next drop the raw ringed onions on top. Then drizzle the sauce on top of the onions. Onions will slowly soak up the sauce. Plate on top of steamed white rice. The. Drizzle sauce over rice. Then bon appétit.
MMore filippino than me and I was raised there
