After three years, here's hoping Matt discovered a couple things about the grill. You don't need to only go once on a weekend. Make that bad boy your every day cooking. And, you can bbq in the winter.

As a south african if you use gas here youd be kicked out of your community and probably deported from the whole country. Utter sacrilage.
Here the raging debate is wood or charcole but even then its not that big of a debate because most people generally agree that if you wanna be eating faster you use charcole but if you wanna be eating later and maybe have some more flavour in the meat then you use wood

People who throw away a grill, any grill, after only 3 years are simply not properly maintaining the grill. Grills are tools, food tools (thanks for watching), and tools of all kinds require maintenance.
Knives require sharpening and hand-washing to maintain their edges. Hammers become brittle if used improperly or excessively. That electric drill your dad bought you for Christmas five years ago that you have used twice, it has a battery, batteries decay.
If you use your grill often enough it will require upkeep, use it not too frequently it will also require upkeep. CLEAN YOUR GRILLS!
imma be that guy, just the taste of a charcoal grill is worth it imo, only grill maybe 8-11x a year MAX
Wood pellet – hands down. All the benefits of both charcoal and propane, plus you can order the pellets online, and they taste amazing!

might be a nitpick, at 2:35 the graph adds up to 108%
You do not need a chimney starter. You can easily pyramid your briquets in the grill achieving a similar effect as a chimney.

Sounds like you’re too lazy and impatient to use charcoal 😂just let it burn out on its own. Charcoal tastes better than gas.
