I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Elle.
I'm sorry. This looked disappointing. Now I understand the comments. But glad I watched it.
looks like Mexican Rice-A-Roni.
"That sauce gets really thick!"
Well, "sopa seca" means "dry soup," so that should be expected.
Where's the beef?
This is not easy. Hot dogs work better
My Mom and Abuela, who were born in Mexico, did not cook fideo like that. Neither do I.
I was listening to Legacy they mention Elle Simone Scott had passed away
I want to offer my condolences to the staff at America's test kitchen and the fans of Elle
This is Rice-A-Roni
I would have salted those tomatoes before heating them and cut back on the bouillion.
Would vermicelli work? Lebanese American household and we keep vermicelli on hand.
It sure looks like whole, unsmashed garlic and regular tomatoes, uncored and quartered!
I had this once leaving the CDMX airport and was blown away. What a super fun dish, I've tried a few recipes excited to try this one. Kids will love this.
When adding the extra water you should have 'washed' out the blender. You've left behind so much flavour
😋😋😋
Tomatoes don't look cored. Hmmm
Would’ve been very nice if Jeanette Cepeda would’ve cooked it. Very common for Latinos who are familiar with this dish to just break up the round fideo.
Bouillon cubes are gross. If you don't see the bouillon powder, go to the 'Mexican' section of your grocery store. They always have it.
I think it would have been in good taste to post a video featuring Elle considering ATK sent out an email about her unfortunate passing. I hope you honor her soon in the upcoming uploads.
My mom used to cook this "Sopa de Fideos" but not so dried, with a corn tortilla
支持港樓講事💪💪💪
That garlic didn't look "smashed" to me.
Or open a box of Spanish Rice-A-Roni
That is a Mexican dish. The Sopa seca is a Jalisco style version, we also call it Fideos Secos too. Fideos means noodles. I hope you all enjoy the recipe and the dish itself.
Looks like Chef Boyardee spaghetti straight out the can.
My dear ATK,. Love all you do.But you have an entire book division. Why do you have your set bookshelves decorated with 80's era thrift store readers digest condensed books?
Lol, those Pyrex measuring cups dribble more than an incontinent 70 year old man. Why do people keep using them? Why does ATK keep using them?? 😂
VERY FATTENING!
Fideos Secos !!! Deliciosos !!
Try using queso cotija…
Broken pasta noodles… Italians, look away! 😂
