I made a version of this …but added some orange lentils to add extra the protein….And acts a bit like a binder…when u lift out the square of the Shepard pie …so itb doesnt fall apart

Made it today!! I did not have tomato paste, used regular pasta sauce. It was goo but I think it be better with tomato sauce. 1st sheperds pie ever! Success!

There is no beef in Shepard's pie. You must use lamb.
