Excellent ❤❤❤
You need about 3 times that amount of spices.
So Glad ATK is acknowledging their Indian audience !
I wanna see Pakistani dishes and African dishes soon!
Dude.. this is just not how you make pakoray…
The box grater from Walmart is expensive!
not to be confused with the vtuber
Housewives in Pakistan and Indias mix and put the batter in oil using bare hands!!
What kind of flower?I don't think I can find that at my grocery store
Very nice to hear from American chef nice
oooh do some experimentation with Burmese Tofu.
Love pakoras
i like to add some rice flour to make them very crsipy
Hot Tip: to make these even crispier add some rice flour about to 2 teaspoon to the besan
Btw you can just use any curry powder or spice combo you'll probably be fine
He did Not say "tumeric"! Turmeric is bright yellow-orange, and this is darker than any I've seen. Perhaps I misheard.
Not Italian food for once. Thank goodness!
Frying calls for a lot of spooning 😂😂
They look delicious! ❤
Never heard of many of these ingredients, and am sure are not available locally! A total wash for middle America.
Some people are saying "so many ingredients are hard to find 😢" but these are even easy to find here in Denver and we don't have a huge Indian community 🤷♂️ and there're also easy-to-find online sources for fenugreek or whatever
Note to self: Don't watch ATK while hungry 😩
Never heard of these
Please add more proportion of Besan batter to have a better taste ❤
Love these
I have everything in my pantry – I'm making these now, SO YUMMY!!! Indian food is divine ❤ Thank you ATK.
Cauliflower is popular in the uk
One quick comment- if you have any small paper cuts on your hands, you might want to wear gloves to mix those onions and chilies. 😖
There’s this big controversy? Do the seeds have the heat or do the ribs inside have the heat?
I have heard over and over again. It’s not the seeds and now who’s saying lead the seeds in for spiciness I am so curious please invite me.🎉
French fries of India
First Parathas now pakoras! So glad to see ATK showing how Indian food is made, and pronounced! 😊
I never thought anyone would measure the onion and besan. 😂😂
Oh very very very cute. You have a link to the recipe at a website of yours which means you get clicks from it but it won't open the recipe unless you pay for a subscription. This is disgusting especially when a lot of cooking channels put the recipe in the description. Obviously you're just out for the money
Curry powder and fennel seeds. Works well.
This recipe will clear out my vegetable drawer, for sure. My girlfriend will think I've gone vegan.
I am making Pakoras since I started cooking, especially in Ramadan for iftar( fast breaking time). Very popular snack in Pakistan. This recipe is spot on and very precise .😋 Good job America test kitchen.
Why "should it" be spicy? A whole lot of us don't enjoy spicy.
The world needs more Pakoras. Needs more curry too, but one step at a time. Pakoras are so good, I have to limit myself as I won't have room for the curry dishes.
And how is the chutney made?
I just love pakoras, … so delicious and easy to make 😋🍺
Good job Keith 👍
Tip for Chef , once you have your hand in the veggie mixture you don’t wash up you mix the batter manually and it will be perfect consistency without adding any water at all . Then you can wash up and fry by spooning the batter as you did , the best way however is to grab the batter manually and add I to the hot oil. The process is just faster.
👌🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👌
I definitely have all those ingredients in my pantry (except those seeds), because I love Indian cuisine and make it often.
I’m such a spice freak and make curry so much I have all the spices 😂 e: wait what is ash vine (?) seed????
I'd leave out the chillies, otherwise I'd make them.
Looks like something delicious but reminds me of Beetlejuice.😆
Anyone know how it changes if you have chick pea flour? I can’t imagine it’s all that different.
Got a drawer full of veggies? Here is something you can make using 5 items that you will definitely NOT have in your pantry. 😂
Hand smash chillis better use gloves
Being an Indian I am happy to see Pokhara’s at America’s Test Kitchen 😊
