  1. The only organic tortillas I can get are flour tortillas. I store and freeze many packages of them and then thaw and refrigerate them for use. I found that dipping them in a pool of sauce made them soften up too much and I was afraid they would fall apart. Not sure if this is because they are flour tortillas or if the freezing and thawing contributes to this. So I'm just adding a few spoonfuls of sauce to the dipping bowl and then get them in and out as quickly as possible. This seems to be working well for me. Thanks for this great recipe! 🥰

Going to the store to cook for the combination flour and corn tortillas my hubby asked me to make some beef ones, he is a OTR trucker, I put what ever dinner I cook into freezer dishes for him to fill his small chest freezer on truck with good home cooked meals so not buying food for house AND truck with these prices at store and unhealthy truck stop meals it just makes sense. When we teamed I cooked on the truck but I paid off my home and came home to get my gardens going and chickens raised. I figured 16 years doing that 90 days out 5 days in was enough for me!
