Preach it Ma Harper. I was always taught by my parents that "you don't work, you don't eat." And they backed that up. If my father told me to shovel the driveway in winter, and i didn't. I didn't get supper until i had. Nothing like busting butt shoveling a long driveway only to get a cold dinner. Because i didn't do it when i was told to do it.
Important life lesson there. Don't put off what needs doing. Do it, THEN screw off.

In this part of the video she is missing 1 thing and that's OKRA, the way I was taught and SASSAFRAS.and I have seen SAFFRON, which I very expensive and the best one comes from,SPAIN,but Goya makes a powdered SAFFRON which is pretty good and not turmeric or egg shade which has no flavor unless you are making egg drop soup and a lot of people can't even make it it's so easy it's a joke but because I am Chef it's easy for me and I am Chinese stir fry in easy and you don't need a WOK.just understand the basics 95% is in the prep or cutting and the remainder is in the cooking just like when you go to a CHINESE TAKE OUT or restaurant look how fast they make it. And Chinese food is very popular and not expensive
