  1. It's worthless to have a salad spinner that sits in a bowl that has no drainage holes in the bottom. Not to mention the purpose of them is water removal and removal of pesticides and herbicides. I wouldn't recommend using the bowl as some serving bowl knowing what's on the bowl, and I'm sure it's hard to remove even with washing.

  2. I love this oxo spinner.
Id previously purchased a random brand off Amazon that had a chopper lid too.
The spinner hardly spun, the gear teeth skipped , the chopper was nice but the storage lid never ever fit.
Found an OXO in a good will.
    1000% better.

  3. I don't think spoiling is an issue if you prepare salad for eating straight after (maybe if you do it many hours in advance). But, wet/damp lettuce doesn't get coated properly by my dressing though and that's the reason I like my lettuce to be dry.

  4. I’ve been growing greens in my garden, so I use this spinner pretty frequently. It performs excellently but I do wonder about an electric spinner. Closest I’ve seen was a giant restaurant style for ~$700. Anything I could do to ease salad prep would help, just not at that price.
