here's the recipe EL COOKS🔽
2Cups AP flour
anise tea (enough to make smooth dough, about 3oz)
1tsp OCEAN (salt)
1tsp baking powder
1Tbsp sugar
1 egg
1Tbsp melted butter (cooled)
1tsp Vanilla extract
350F oil, 20-30 seconds on each side!

The only difference is that we have less vanilla in it and add yogurt to the dough.
Because of that the dough is more stretchy and the end result is a bit chewier. It's still crispy and delicious.

In the native world we call it fry bread and put wijape on it its a blueberry syrup but instead of being like regular syrup it has smashed blueberries in the syrup
