Tip from a mom of three, give them a bowl to break egg into, then dump egg into recipe bowl. Just like I give my adult self a separate bowl to break eggs.
I could give a hoot about making a pop-tart. But this little girl was so precious that I watched the entire video! ❤️
I love this video. It's so fun to have little ones help out in the kitchen. Thanks for a fun and charming video!
Thank you for the great recipe!
Can I use a blender instead of food processor?
I'm surprised that this video hadn't exploded with woke activists dog piling you for calling your daughter Olive when she called herself Ariel/Fairy Elsa. I believe they call that dead naming?
I think poptarts taste better without the icing, just like in the 70's
To make it seem like a real pop tart, I guess you could use cardboard rather than dough.
I am just curious as to what the sour cream adds.
👍👍👍
My husband is 68 and I'm teaching him to cook. He loves pop tarts so I used this video to teach him how to make them. He's happy with them! 🙂
She is adorable! So great to teach little girls how to bake!💗
OMG Olive/Ariel/Fairy Elsa is the best thing ever. What a lovely and helpful little girl.
Ariel/Fairy Elsa/Olive, and her Outstanding Assistant/Mom, made this recipe fun.
Olive is sooo cute 🥰
She's such a cutie pie! You're a great mom, and you'll both have these memories always. Thanks for this. Peace and good health.
This looks like y’all are trying to copy another channel that is struggling. Stay true to America’s Test kitchen’s personality….
I'm really digging the ATK At Home episodes. Your little Olive is very clever and completely adorable. Thanks for this recipe.
Tell Ariel that I thought that she did a great job helping you with the pop tarts and I loved her outfit with the butterfly 🦋 wings too.
I'm thinking chicken-pot-pie tarts, too … yummy!
Adorable!
2:43 – that little girl is a darling (my yunguns were that small 15 years ago) … and I think I learnt this from Martha Stewart that if you should wet your finger, you can get that shell out without any trouble chasing it around the bowl.
8:57 – When my kids cooked with me, I would use the fact that the tsp is 1/3 of the tbsp, and how to divide and double cups and "spoons". The trick is to get them used to doubling (to get smaller) the denominator and halving (to get larger) that same denominator. You will need to teach them to turn mixed and complex fractions into improper fractions to do this, but having taught maths, etc. for 20 years, fractions (especially adding and subtracting) are the hardest things to learn. Now my eldest is a Civil Engineer, so I speak from experience. AND they "see" how maths are applicable. 😀
Great recipe! I'll give it a whirl at the weekend, Cheers!
Consider. Novice bakers who don't have a food processor. Instructions for how to make dough manually?
Can you replace all purpose with almond flour? What will be the quantity?
Ariel-Olive is super cute!
Claire’s are better
I’ll take the one that Fairy Elsa added extra sprinkles. Too cute!
