HOW CAN U ENJOY A BBQ PORK SANDWICH IN AN HOUR/ OLD SCHOOL BBQ PULLED PORK SANDWICH (INSTANT POT)



OLD SCHOOL PULLED PORK ( in instant pot)
This is a easy recipe
The pork will come out so tender moist and flavorful
RECIPE
5# boneless or bone in pork shoulder (cut in large strips)
1 cup Apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup light brown sugar(optional)
1/4 cup liquid smoke sauce (optional)
1 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 sweet onions sliced
2 cups BBQ rub seasoning( i use Uncle Steve shake competition pig powder/smoke bomb)

Season pork with your favorite BBQ rub
let sit for 30minutes
Place pork in instant pot
place sliced onions on top of meat
pour liquids in between the meat
Set to meat setting
Cook for 65 minutes

It will come out falling apart tender

serve on toasted bun topped with old school chow chow and old school BBQ sauce

  1. My grandmother made these for the church ladies Luncheons she was in a lot of auxiliaries at the church and sometimes she cooked pork roast candied yams greens or green beans cornbread and a chocolate cake🥮 lemonade or sweet iced tea.

I had a presto pressure cooker that was made in the 50s had to order the gasket had the recipe book and instructions book it was made of cask aluminum when they made real products cooked everything in there roast pork chops ribs and fish the insta pot is incredible. I made German hot slaw and canned it and then would heat it up and put it on pulled pork sandwiches it better
    then coleslaw when heated . Used to rub jalapeño jelly on the buns and put the pork and barbecue sauce . Sold a lot of beer doing that .
