Why do you continue promoting adding more sodium to our diets? In general, we are consuming far too much today. Adding more is cultivating taste buds to crave it. Making it harder and harder to follow doctors orders when he/she has to treat high blood pressure and/or kidney problems.
Do the right thing! Teach how to reduce sodium use when preparing good tasting foods!
Id advise making better coffee as a first step. If you must use preground burnt hog leavings for coffee grounds then absolutely salt it
Oh my mother's been doing that for years.. it does make a difference
Already do. I have a small box of imported fleur de sel just for my daily cup of coffee. A pinch blended with heavy cream & MCT oil keeps me sharp & energized all day. 😊
This is true! Also works on tea!
something similar is commonly done in vietnam! it's called cà phê muối if anyone wants to take a look
Ah yes, I learned this principle from Good Eats. Salt quite literally blocks whatever taste buds it binds with from tasting bitterness. That's how I helped my grandmother take some medicine she hated- it was really bitter, so I told her to eat some saltines beforehand, and it worked like a charm.
Wouldn’t 80vs20 grams be 25%? Not exactly 20% as stated in video..?🤷♂️
yep i put a dash of salt in my coffee almost every morning.
This is probably like adding salt to watermelon, mostly does nothing but make it salty.
Don’t mess up your bar (simple) syrup
🤔 if you add sugar or milk let's say, does adding a "pinch" of salt affect the flavor dan?
Just taste like salt water coffee… #pass #pointless
America's Test Kitchen, nice video keep up the great content
Salt can take your blood pressure to the next level too! I should know. 🥲
Is there any there any health benefits to adding it to coffee?
