Excellent video, explanation, and final product. My favoritw cookie is oatmeal raisin and this is the best recipe I have tried. Thank you for tweaking!!
I like more raisins is that ok? And can I soak them in hot water. Ccan I put in a table spoon of molasses?
I love raisins…I am the only person I know that does. I would put 4x that amount of raisins…but boy those look great!!!
Crazy story; I followed the first half thing this was oatmeal cookies pecan bar 😆😩. I made half into cookies Then used half the cookie mixture as a bottom crust replacement and made the pecan topping . We’ll see what happens 😬
Its funny watching one lady telling the other lady how to make cookies, shouldn't she be talking to the viewer?
No vegetable oil!!!!

Elle! Beautiful recipes!
For the pecan bar recipe, how many cups of pecans please?
You can put grip mat underneath too
first time making oatmeal raisin cookies. hands down best ever. love your adjustments. wish your site wasn't behind a paywall but luckily someone here listed the ingredients 🙂
You talk about replacing some of the butter with unsaturated fat, vegetable oil. I'm sure you tried olive or avocado oil in place of standard vegetable oil. Was the taste severely different?
The original recipe calls for half butter and half Crisco. The one with all butter is horrible. I also add pecans.

Rehydrate the raisins overnight with a couple of Tbsp of rum or brandy for the oatmeal cookies
Cookie, cookies please ! So delicious looking. Thanks
Love watching you guys together. We don’t like overly sweet desserts. But still enjoy a snack at the end of the day or with coffee. How much sugar can I decrease without compromising flavor and the ratios too much.
This isn’t just making me hungry and trying to sell me products, thanks guys
I'm going to have to make both of these. But so I don't eat them all completely I'll probably wait till I go to therapy group, using a teaching moment. I used to be a baker, cake decorator all kinds of stuff but now due to muscle and nerve damage and a list of other stuff I got told I would never be able to go back to my field, broke my heart crushed my soul💔😱😵 but I recently got told by my case manager that I could teach some of the other clients some baking and since all of the clients that go to the clubhouse which is a Therapy Group but we try to perform some normal day tasks, some things as simple as doing dishes are hard for us with me I can get away with dishes as long as I can stick them in the dishwasher but once I have to stand at the sink in one place it causes my ankle my knee and my hip to flare up. So it's nice being able to bake at the clubhouse because then somebody else is willing to help with the dishes in return to eat goodies. I guess trigger warning for the rest, Along with my physical stuff I've also got severe PTSD and some issues that come along with that, one of the things for Clubhouse for me is try to get me normalized to people again because my ex kept me locked up and I survived 12 years of DV but then was assaulted by my ex brother-in-law family reunion of sorts so I've also got severe trust issues on top of everything. I would love to be able to teach but unfortunately due to head trauma I can't recall a lot of information I had memorized. I could be talking normal one minute, then completely forgot what I was talking about the next which makes it really hard when having to deal with paperwork and applications and trying to teach somebody something when you can't even remember what the heck you said
We love oatmeal cookies in our household. I have a friend that likes oatmeal hates raisins so I make hers with dried cherries, also works great with dried apples when you can find them now I just see the freeze dried apples everywhere but I want my chewy dried apples. I also have a recipe from I think it's Land O'Lakes for pumpkin oatmeal cookies and they call for the raisins but I've also added dried cranberries in. If you don't want fruit we'll also do chocolate chips sometimes. But will this cookie recipe work for a certain oatmeal sandwich, if so can you provide a cream filling recipe😏 I'm asking for a friend
Why are they always force feeding Bridget raisins?! Not a fan of them either. 🤮
don't heat honey as it will turn toxic
Yum
This is looking so good! Yummy!
Why is her hair blue!? That's not attractive!
All their recipe are great. The oatmeal cookies are great. For the pecan bars, I do not see the amount of pecans mentioned.
How much pecans in this?
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
When I was ~7, I came home from school and found some lady in our kitchen. This was OK with me, because she was making oatmeal cookies. But I went to find my mother anyway and I found her in her closet organizing shoes (or something). She brought me back to the kitchen and introduced me to the lady, but I was not paying attention because the cookies were coming out of the oven. It was not until years later that I tumbled to the fact that this lady was Rosa Parks, who was in our city to give a lecture and stayed with us as a "safehouse." She made the best oatmeal cookies!
