Not only was there no smoke coming out, the temp gauge was at zero every time they showed it…
I've grilled them in the past on the webber but they were too salty. Didn't realize the need to simmer.

If you cut your cabbage longways through the stem end, the cabbage will hold together. Going to try this tomorrow, boil as you did, cook on a plank and then wrap with Guinness :>) Gonna be gooood.
