This doesn't actually work, at least it didn't for me. After quite a bit of scrubbing I had 1 tiny spot clean. What did work was some good old Bar Keepers Friend, let that sit for about a minute and scrubbed with a rough sponge. Glass is clear as new now.
Thank you for the tip! I have one more, clean after each use and you never have that problem; don’t wait for years until is a thick “gunk” or until Mr. Clean sponsors you. 😂
Gosh, every time I use my Breville toaster oven I spray both the outside and inside of the window with Windex and it always looks brand new. Never crossed my mind to let the dirt build up.
Mine will need more than just water. I saw a diy video using baking soda and vinegar, possibly dish soap too. Not sure. I've been using my Black & Decker toaster oven for almost 10 years. It is time to buy a new one.
I’ve also had good luck scraping off the gunk with a single-edge razor in one of those cheap metal handle thingies you can get at a hardware or paint store, but I don’t know if there are any coatings on the glass that I should worry about. It’s more reusable than a magic eraser though!
You certainly don't need an overly expensive product, just order a bunch of "magic erasers" straight from China for less than the price of one branded product.

Que rico! Feliz Navidad!
Great tip! Thank you for sharing this with us! 💜
Razor blade in a scraper holder.
wont that scratch it like crazy?
You did the door.
How about cleaning the grates as clean as you see in your video? And the bottom tray? Or is this one a recently acquired new smart oven?
Or you could just go down to your local hardware store and buy some melamine foam which is the exact same thing and a fraction of the price.
Razor blade or scrapper from hardware store, don't even need to get it wet.
A toaster does one thing. Never had one, but a toaster over is wonderful. It can do lots of things. Cleaning isn't problematic if you keep up with it.
Wow thank you
Or you know… clean after you use it and whatnot blamo presto clean no hard clean up… Yeesh. Preach best practice, don’t cater to apathy.

So this is an ad for mr. clean magic eraser.
It's flavor. Geez. Y'all are obsessed with cleaning things.
Baking soda and water work great!
Does this also work on a full sized oven door?
So basically if you just try to clean it (instead of ignoring it) it may surprise you.
Wow, I am going to try this
Barkeeper's Friend…

Thank you for doing a toaster oven cleaning tip!

Ha! Now clean the inside/bottom of the toaster oven. The window isn't where the food cooks
I have the same one and noticed this morning it needs cleaning. Very well timed and informative video, tyvm!
It’s called cleaning n maintaining your house ,good job you get a cookie for figuring out how cleaning works😂
This is how I clean microwave ovens at work. Throw a wet rag in there, hit the 30 seconds button, and voila
