Ingredients:
Beef bones (1 kg)
Garlic (10 cloves, crushed)
Onion (1 medium size, chopped)
Tomato (1 pc, sliced)
Fish sauce (1 tbsp)
Crushed pepper
Hot water
Mung beans (1.5 cup)
Tamarind powder (2 tbsp)
Spinach
Procedure:
✔️ Heat oil in a pot.
✔️ Sauté the garlic until it is fragrant, about 20 to 30 seconds
✔️ Add the chopped onion and cook, stirring frequently until desired softness and colour are reached.
✔️ Add the chopped tomato.
✔️ Add the beef bones.
✔️ Add fish sauce & crushed pepper.
✔️ Add hot water. Cover & simmer over low to medium heat for about 1 hour.
✔️ Add 1.5 cup of mung beans (monggo beans)
✔️ Cover & simmer for another 1 hour until the beans and meat are soft.
✔️ Add tamarind powder (optional)
✔️ Add spinach
✔️ Serve hot. Enjoy!
