Miso Pork Stir-Fry with Eggplants and Bell Peppers Recipe | Cooking with Dog



Miso Stir-Fry with Summer Vegetables is a popular dish with eggplants and bell peppers. The sweetened miso flavor goes great with steamed rice!

How to Make Miso Pork Stir-Fry

(serves 2)
3 Eggplants (250g/8¾ oz)
2 Bell Peppers (80g/2¾ oz)
100g Thin Pork Slices (3½ oz)
A sprinkle of Salt and Pepper

1½ tbsp Miso – fermented soybean paste
1 tbsp Sugar
½ tsp Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Sake

1 Red Chili Pepper
1 tsp Chopped Ginger Root
1 tsp Chopped Garlic

½~1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 tsp Sesame Oil

材料<2人分>
なす:3本(250g)
ピーマン:2個(80g)
豚ロース薄切り:100g(豚バラ肉、切り落とし、肩ロースなど何でもよい)
下味:
塩、コショウ少々

みそ:大1と1/2
砂糖:大1
しょう油:小1/2
酒:大2

赤唐辛子:1本
生姜みじん切り:小1
にんにくみじん切り:小1

サラダ油:大1/2〜1
ごま油:小1

  1. I will try this dish today ! Thank you for your simple and clear instruction. Is it alright to put the reserved noodles in a cold iced water for second servings? I enjoyed watching the presentation. May I know who is the cook ?

  2. Apart from the pork, no salt was added. Your videos are great but salt is rarely added. What is the source of the salt?
    And why add the whole chili, without even taking the stalk off?That's going to lend any flavour or hotness to the dish.

  3. Did you use small eggplants? I just cooked this (with only two eggplants) and it was difficult getting them all to cook evenly, and I had a hard time getting the pieces small enough while still fitting them all in the pan.

  4. Lately my mood hasn't been good and I haven't been eating as often as I should, and when I do it hasn't been very healthy. But watching some of your videos helped motivate me to learn new recipes and go buy groceries, so thank you. : )
