I'm Danish an I make a better pasta than this guy.
Worst sauce ever this guy doesnt know italian food / useless
This guy is full of sheet
Perfect? 🤣🤣 Maybe in NZ. Every Italian would just put a smile on his/her face and shake his/her head while watching this video.
The title should be "How To Cook The Perfect Onion Sauce With a Hint of Tomato".
Masterchef use dark blue Barilla? Dark blue Barilla is worst pasta from Barilla. The best Barilla is red, optional light blue.
The pasta should be removed from the water then straight into the sauce, you want some pasta water in your sauce, the starch helps the sauce stick to the pasta.
They must have weak onions in new Zealand 😉 if he needs to add that much onion
Che cazzo!!!!!!! This is faaaarrr from the perfect Italian sugo!!! This it horrible! This guy has no idea what he’s talking about. He said “
If you’re making a tomato sauce it’s gotta scream tomato…” and He used HORRIBLE tinned tomato’s, and tomato paste! And an insane amount of onion. This is one of the worst I’ve ever seen 😂
not good enough… best sauce is only ground tomatoes heavily reduced no skins, olive oil, garlic and basil nothing else
also always mix the pasta, sauce and some pasta water in the pan… this guy fkin ruined it
Can’t believe he did not use fresh tomatoes
this is not italian tomato sauce
too much onion ,too much garlic
The Golden rule of cooking is never to add salt until all the ingredients in the particular dish has been fully cooked. For instant cooking and for show purposes these chefs recommend usage of high amount of salt. Less amount of salt usage gives you a healthier lives
Che schifo!
You want to get the sweetness and acidity of the tomatoes. And swirling the noodles in the sauce with some pasta water will emulsify the olive oil and produce a much nicer sauce.
You lost me at canned tomatoes
It wasn't the sauce that his Italian friends disliked, it was, I'm sure, his choice of pasta! Look in 7:33 min at his sophisticated selection of fast dried, smooth, yellow pasta…yucks!
I am an Indian, a home cook, and i can not stress more to tell that this is not a proper way to cook an Italian spaghetti pasta.
I'm not Italian…but I know good tomato sauce….and this my friends is bullshit…
*perfect onion sauce
Why are they seated so far away?
You have to leave it in the crock pot for three days and drain off the top. And you you need the perfect combination of rosemary and parsley.
Forget about this. Go and watch Best Italian Tomato PASTA SAUCE RECIPE by Vincenzo's Plate
Hi chef. Whats the diffirence between jam and chutney as you commented while discribing the sauce?
Italian here– In North Italy they would use more butter less olive oil. They should have an actual Italian to do this. And, as an Italian I never use onion or garlic ever. I use asafoetida instead. And he put way too much salt in the water.
Too many onions!!!!
I'm not Italian and even I can tell you that is a ridiculous amount of onion, garlic and oil going into that sauce. Always taught a tomato sauce should be very simple. Good quality tomatoes, oil, garlic and that is it!
Salt and oil with pasta and garlic root
This is tough to watch
This is disgusting why not just tell them to pour tomate concentrate with dried garlic onion with some olive oil in a bowl?
Tomatoes are simple it's just tomatoes crushed, sometimes filtred if too much water, peeled and fresh basil, sea salt. Parmigiano, pecorino that's it. Anything has another name or a fantasy but not Italian
Some people allow some olive oil here… That's it and it's simple, tomatoes not good or ripe =no good tomatoes sauce
And that is just way too much salt that you put into the water and the olive oil helps the pasta not sticking together I learned that from Italian women while working in the kitchens came up with the idea that you do not add olive oil to the water ask any Italian woman how they do this to get it I guess it's your first time to cook real Italian spaghetti but what I seen your short video I would throw it in the bin
I think your message of cooking spaghetti it would be a failure because you need love with your cooking and looks like you do not have any love with your cooking Italians love to cook and I can see that you do not there's no method in your cooking you can call yourself or you like a good pasta sauce needs to simmer for about 4 hours reducing the liquid in the pot inside the souls actually sticks to your pasta and not run off your plate
I would file you straight away just by your methods alone
I guess you don't cook pasta that often or spaghetti growing up with Italian women they kind of like show you everything about making spaghetti it seems to me you have no clue whatsoever even though you're consider yourself a MasterChef just in your methods I hate it see what your food taste like either too salty or not enough flavor
litterly looks stunning makes me want to eat it idc if its soo much oil or so much onion i just want a plate of it
edit: i tried it and my mom loved it, it tasted so freaking good and juicy.Prolly will do it again next time!!!
Thankyou Chef. I made the sauce and served it to my family today and they really enjoyed it.
