HOW TO COOK TO ENJOY AUSTRALIAN SALMON – 2 DELICIOUS RECIPES



There are many recipes for cooking Australian Salmon. how to cook Australian Salmon is a common question.Enjoying them is a different matter!
I like to cook on the simple side and first tried out Panko breadcrumbs Salmon fillets fried in oil on a fire pit. Which was very Delicious.

And secondly i tried my own version of a Fish Curry with vegetables, again was surpurb. I will use curry with fish again!

  1. Best used in raw fish
    Dice into small cubes
    Add your salt and pepper with tomatoes
    Let it sit for an hour in fridge
    Add spring onions with cucumber
    With lemon
    Mix it up
    Then let it sit for 15 to twenty minutes in fridge
    Add cream or coconut cream and woo hoo shes all good to go
    I prefer full cream

I've heard time and time again dom oh salmon oz salmon yuck.i have caught many of these and in the early days I fillet them and cooked them and yes they taste yuk.but I eventually looked a little closer and noticed that there was either white meat or grey meat.the grey being the blood line cooked.No wonder they tasting yuk.got a huge 3kg one and filleted it then cut fillet down middle and seen the beef like meat.cut that off and the white flesh was so juicy and succulent and sweet.a fab table fish.need to educate people of this.its abundant .

  4. yep bleed them out ant put them in an esky under shaved ice if you can get it or block ice be ok if your camping over night I do it all the time camping and salmon fishing great fun down here on the south coast of western Australia pity about the co 19 this year travel restrictions oh well next year cheers dom luv the second recipe cant wait to try !!

  5. i grew up on "aussie salmon" we call them Kahawai in New Zealand n i eat them all the time & trust me u want too bleed them… if u dont its really fishy, it starts to stink really quickly & it doesnt keep for as long… the only time i dont bleed my kahawai is when im using them for fresh snapper bait or putting it out as a livey for kingfish

  6. When you caught that fish it looked like a carp or something and I had to look up what an Australian salmon is. Wow, I really want to try this fish! It's completely different from northern hemisphere salmon, which are related to trout. I definitely need to go on a fishing vacation in Australia, sounds like you guys have all kinds of neat stuff I have never even heard of.

  7. this is the best way someone please try this and tell me how you liked it. first don't snap the neck from your salmon and bleed them all this does is make it less messy to fillet and makes the taste worse and the meat gray. get one cup of flour of can of beer and make the batter then put HEAPS of salt and pepper on the fish dip in batter then fry it for about 1:30 sec in total and boom bobs your uncle your have nice salmon. dont bleed them
