Great info. Thanks! 🔥
Red oak should only take 3 to 6 months to be ready
That's all the best for cooking and smoking
Great & knowledgeable guy. Way to support the local community
Very informative… Thank you.
Here from OWB! What’s your opinion smoking with hedge apple? (aka osage orange)
Were would you rate LIVE OAK WOOD FOR SMOKING MEATS?
Cedar no one mentions cedar why is that?
Well to answer the question to cover or not is quite simple. Dry wood burns. Wet wood doesn't.
Ohio wood burner! Another channel I follow.
I don’t buy fire wood I just cut trees for a living ha
Just curious how much did that cost?
This actually was super helpful. Thank you for this video guys.
If you can get your hands on some white ash buy it . The best.
Red oak 🪵 is expensive
How many pieces would you say in half cord?
Great video. New to grilling. Does it make sense to use wood to flavor veggies on a grill? Thanks!
Outstanding explanation. Great content.
I’m new to smoking and just trying to get started. Do you use the wood with the bark on or do you need to remove it? and can you use the smaller limbs that are usually discarded?
Thanks you guys this was very helpful, I love to cook with wood on my grill,
I will only pay attention to this guy if those Aviators are legit Rochester Bosch and Lomb otherwise game over.
Why did you move from chunks to full splits?
great content, this.
I watched this video a week ago, and didn’t even make it through all the way. I went over to OWB’s channel, and got lost down the rabbit hole of his videos, and now I’m like, “I want to start a firewood business!” I spent every summer and fall doing firewood as a kid, and I hated it, but as an adult, Joe is right, it’s very relaxing and therapeutic. I came to your channel, because I am very interested in cooking barbecue, and open fire pit direct cooking. Turns out I’m probably just as interested in the art of procuring and producing perfect splits of quality firewood. And for some reason, I can watch Joe’s videos all day. There’s something very ASMR satisfying about watching a powered wood splitter just going and going! Lmao!
He is planet killer
Fascinating information. Thanks gentlemen.
