Well, after following the instructions, explicitly, and not using too much chicken broth as instructed and cooking it for 45 minutes it was a watery mess. It certainly taste good, but it definitely did not set up at all.

My Mom always made lazy cabbage roll casserole and she used 1 can of tomato soup and just put the cabbage leaves on the bottom and top. Also she steamed the cabbed leaves until half cooked first.

The frustrating thing is, we don't have cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup in cans here in Germany. We only got regular soup in cans. Also, the Ranch flavor does not exist here either. The casseroles look yummy though.
