I usually make blackberry cobbler but this one looks yummy! I’m gonna do it ❤
Thanx for sharing. My Dad loves cherry pie and though I really don't mind the labour…this looks a lot easier.
My question is….neither of us are thrilled with nutmeg and find allspice revolting, can cinnamon be substituted ?
I've played this 10 times and still can't hear if she's saying a packed cup of sugar (even though she's using white sugar) or a 1/2 cup of sugar (it looks like she's pouring in a half cup out of a full cup). Which is it?
I don’t think raw refined sugar has a smell…
Can you label all videos this woman does so I know to avoid them? She says it's more accurate to weigh ingredients but then gives most measurements in cups. And I don't need to know how cute she thinks her cookwear is 🙄. The presentation style was more WordPress blog than ATK.
I would bet that that mark on your arm came from reaching into the stove and touching the upper rack just above your oven mitts. I've done that before.
So who's filming you?
Hmmm?… I have canned apples, blueberries or peaches? I make a smaller 2 serving dish that I could have done in a half hour.
ATK: Magda's a great choice for videos like this. We're not all experienced chefs, so seeing a "regular" person cooking and making something like this is very welcome.
It's just painful to see someone "measuring" out two cups on a weight scale.
Sour cherry = maracino cherries? I wanna try this but i dont think i can find cherries like that in our market. Our cherries are half the size of those
Dogs can not eat nutmeg it's toxic and high in sugar. Great recipe. Thanks for sharing.
Why not use grams as the measurement? It’s far more exact and easy.
Bizarre ATK stuff in a standard cobbler recipe: Pouring cherry juice out of a cup measure to measure it again by weight. No reason for a cast iron pan when any ovenproof pan would do. Totally unnecessary use of a cookie scoop to portion out the biscuit dough. Weighing cream instead of using a measuring cup.
question : how did you use your scale to measure 2 cups(volume) of a sugar syrup? what's the weight/volume difference? did you use OZ or mg?
Forgot to pay the dog tax, disappointed now.
Magda does it again! Another recipe I MUST try!
Oh Cheerios are reallllllllly bad for dogs!!!
Magda, you did a very wonderful job with this video. Thank you very much!! Please keep these videos coming.
This is such a beautiful recipe and perfect 😘😘
Great video and your voice is beautiful to listen to! You should make more recipes 👍🏽🥂
making this asap
Would love to get those measurements in grams, was disorienting to see the scale and still hear cups/ounces
My all-time favorite seasonal dessert has to be strawberry rhubarb pie. Absolute heaven. I am definitely going to be making this though!
Yummy!
Dogs can eat cherries? someone should open a restaurant with all ATK recipes on the menu. For those of us who can't cook taste the famous ATK recipes. Shark Tank idea!
I can't say I'm a fan of the style over substance trend in some food videos. Sorry, but they bore me.
scales don't measure cups. Please advise what you are really measuring with the scale.
I would love to try this but I don't have a specialty cast iron pan like you used. Can I substitute a traditional cast iron pan?
Where did you get your flour container?
Nice job and great presentation, Magda!
May I know what cooktop is it?
Can this be adapted in to a pie instead?
Nice. I will say, this cook certainly doesn’t eat like I eat. Why? Because I can tell by her thin body. Believe me, I would eat that entire pan of cherries and biscuits! Yummyyy!!!
I haven't been able to buy sour cherries for several years around Philly… unless they are in season and even then still hard to find.
But this will be at the top of my list to make!
The only thing I would do differently is slip in amaretto liqueur or almond extract somewhere, which is cherry's true bff 😉
This is such a beautiful recipe, and perfect since I want to start canning/jarring cherries. Those buttermilk drop biscuits look so tender & delicious
Why dont u use self raising flour
I follow everything they make. If they make it in cast iron, I do too. Everything comes out perfect. They test their recipes over and over before presenting them to us. It is ridiculous that some individuals think they know better 😂😂😂

I have never seen a giant Pyrex cup like that. I need 10 of them lol!!
Yeah you really don't want to do this in cast iron pans, same goes for apple pie. The extreme acidity of the cherries will totally remove your seasoning. Ceramic or glass is what you want to use.
You are so much fun to watch.
Weigh two cups? Are you weighing out 16oz of weight or have you weighed 16oz of volume specific to that liquid?
I use pie filling. It's already thickened.
Looks delicious!
I really hope you were joking about feeding your dog with that.
Whats the name of that cook top and where can I purchase one?
Wow a test kitchen cook I can relate to.
That looks amazing 👏 😍 I can't wait to make this. Thank you for sharing ❤ 😊
