  1. Awesome! I love this dish. I get it at an oyster bar where it isn’t on the menu but the cook there is from Mexico originally and he will make almost anything you request. Looking forward to watching more of Elle’s videos. Her instructions are great and I love her voice.

  2. I watched this on PBS yesterday, chased you down on YouTube today and made the recipe. It's simple and delicious. I had to purchase all the ingredients unfortunately (even the ketchup) and it came in at around $30 dollars. Not bad considering this made a ton and will easily be plenty as an appetizer for a large get together. Also this can easily be adapted to other meals. There's no reason this can't be served on a tortilla as a taco or over rice a a summer evening light dish.

  3. I've used v8 once to see how it tasted like on shrimp cocktail, and it was good but clamato is better. Plus I add some worcestershire sauce and half a can of orange soda (you can skip that one though), chopped tomato, and I peel and remove the seeds from the cucumbers, and chop it into smaller pieces to bring out the chunks of shrimp. God, now I want some!
