Awesome! I love this dish. I get it at an oyster bar where it isn’t on the menu but the cook there is from Mexico originally and he will make almost anything you request. Looking forward to watching more of Elle’s videos. Her instructions are great and I love her voice.
This looks so good it makes me cry!
Looks delicious!! I'm ready to make it😋😋😋🦐🦐
Bas girl, m m m my Simone
This is a regular rotation for me! Healthy for my type 2 diabetes!
I love watching Elle cook.
Great recipe does anyone know how long this will last in fridge?
I watched this on PBS yesterday, chased you down on YouTube today and made the recipe. It's simple and delicious. I had to purchase all the ingredients unfortunately (even the ketchup) and it came in at around $30 dollars. Not bad considering this made a ton and will easily be plenty as an appetizer for a large get together. Also this can easily be adapted to other meals. There's no reason this can't be served on a tortilla as a taco or over rice a a summer evening light dish.
Oooh, you're so lucky Chris Kimball isn't around anymore to chide you about your avocado de-pitting! Just kidding! I love this recipe and have made it several times.
This looks amazing. Thank you, ATK.
I can't eat seafood however I wacthed just the same because of Elle
So delicious thanks 😊
Clamato or bust tbh
It’s originally a Salvadoran recipe, not Mexican. This is a recipe that goes all the way back to the Pipil, and slowly has migrated north and become popular in Mexico.
For the broth I use ketchup and orange soda to taste and consistency , give it a try ,delicious
I use V-8 for tomato soup. Not too sweet & full of flavor.
Looks delish, will be making it soon. Thank you for sharing. 😋
WOW! This dish w/ cold rice salad would be a great dinner for hot weather.
Ok this I have to try making it, it so easy.
Made this and loved it. Had to add a few tsp of sugar though.
This recipe is mouth watering and healthy
That was a better commercial for V-8 Juice than you see on TV!
I've used v8 once to see how it tasted like on shrimp cocktail, and it was good but clamato is better. Plus I add some worcestershire sauce and half a can of orange soda (you can skip that one though), chopped tomato, and I peel and remove the seeds from the cucumbers, and chop it into smaller pieces to bring out the chunks of shrimp. God, now I want some!
That dude knows whats up
This looks beautiful!
My go-to, cooked shrimp with a dipping sauce of catsup and horseradish lol. Also great!
Thank you. It looks so good. I did not have that in Mexico, but I'd like to try it anyway.
Coctel de Camaron = shrimp cocktail… SO…
But this looks like more like a Shrimp Ceviche!
Love Elle! Can't wait to try this.
I see that onion dice. Awesome recipe and video thank you Chef Scott!
