One day ATK will adopt a pasta recipe that uses half the water and starts cold. 🤦♂️
Good salad though.
I would cook and cool the orzo before preparing the rest of the salad. For example, the cucumber, sitting in the salty bowl, would leak and possibly lose some structure while you wait for the pasta; adding the vegetables right at the end would better preserve the crunch and the freshness.
