Grilling shrimp in their shells protects the delicate flesh, but seasonings are peeled away at the table. Could we deliver tender, flavorful grilled shrimp–without the shells?

If you want to unskewer the shrimp like a pro, grab the first shrimp closest to the ring and pull the skewer out. All the shrimp will land where you have them placed.

This whole thing is shot weirdly tight and close.
Wow amazing video. Thanks for sharing good recipe. Stay connected friend 😘 ❤️
Weird close up filming angle to avoid showing her increasingly large middle?
Looks so delicious ! Lucky Mom👍
She's so young and cute, can you get a little closer to her face. Don't bother showing the food.
I like the shrimp with 2 Skewes and shrimp back and forward!!! Chef Margo 1984 CIA Graduate. 🇵🇱🧸⛺️🛶🏳️🌈👩🍳🇺🇸
I've been making something similar for years except I use a couple spoonfuls of orange juice concentrate instead of lemon juice
Any reason why these were not de-veined?
Did I miss the deveining part? 🤨
Did I miss the part where she deveined the shrimp?
Do you have recipes for ostraconophobic eaters 🍤🤮 🍤😆
Heck yah!
Aww, I thought we'd get to see your mom 😢
Yummmmm! Will def try this recipe. Thanks!
Also did mom eat your 50 prev recipes before you got it perfected, lol.
Mother. Well she's best and worst critic. Lol, mom.
I'm just curious. What is the reason for using unsalted butter, and then adding salt? Couldn't you just use regular salted butter and not add salt?
The untra zoom shots are ugly
Look's delicious! Thank you.
Dinner…done
Nice recipe.. That is actually not a "disposable pan". You can and should clean and reuse them many times. But I am sure you know that ; )
Awesome! My hubby would love this recipe! I'll give it a try! 🙂🙃
I'm drooling! Love the double skewer technique! Definitely need to try this dish! 😋
Did the shrimp have the shells on or off?

subbed to ATK years ago, but lost interest in the channel long ago, but julias videos are the best!, and now shes been pumping out new videos almost on the daily
What was the side dish?
Terrible video format with all those close-up shots. Saw some nose hair within the first 30 seconds, ugh. Reminds me of Nick Stellino's format. So terrible.
I've been cooking shrimp in a wok with garlic, removing them then making a very similar sauce in the wok using lemon, butter and garlic, then adding the shrimp back, tossing it all together and serving the shrimp with a side salad or basic white rice, topped with sliced green onions on top. One of the quickest ways to cook shrimp and I've never had a bad review of it when serving to friends. Other than there never seems to be enough to go around. LOL
Where is Bridget? (Stalker girl gonna comment)
Excellent, elegant, and easy! Thanks Julia, Melaney from SoCal
Great tutorial. This old man is going to make this for my wife tomorrow for dinner. Thks. for sharing.
Who's the new director with this tighter framing and cleaner shots? Looks good!
Closeups are a big improvement.
Double skewers is certainly a good move. This looks delicious!
