⅓ cup flour
⅓ shoyu
¾ cup vinegar
1 cup pineapple juice
½ cup brown sugar
2 tsp salt
1 clove garlic smashed
1 inch ginger root smashed
1 can pineapple
1 tsp oil

  1. This is not “Hawaiian style”, only traditional Hawaiian dishes are Hawaiian. I’ve requested numerous times that you respect the native people of Hawai’i and not exploit our culture by calling things “Hawaiian style”, but you apparently don’t respect Hawaiians enough to stop exploiting our culture, so I have to assume this request will be ignored as well.

  2. Every once in a while I come across a recipe that blows me away and this is one of them. I made this today and it was absolutely delish! My husband loved it and it was so easy to make! I halved the recipe for the two of us and my only tweak was that I added some bite-sized bell pepper chunks at the same time as the pineapple pieces. This is going into my cookbook and will be making this again and again. Thank you so much. ❤
