What does fennel tast like?

I’ve never had fennel bulbs. I love veggies, I’ll have to give this a shot.
Edit: I made the dish, and the flavors all meshed together well, but not quite my palate. Fennel can stay where it’s at on my veggie tastiness scale, not on it.

It would have been good but you ruined it with that disgusting vegetable: FENNEL!!!
Great recipe. I adore shrimp, but it's very easy to over cook them. Seconds(!) and temperatures matter. So do the shrimp of course
