Tastes soooo much better cold
wouldn't you need to temper that egg first?
can I skip the raisins?
Hey, do you think I can use Stevia instead of sugar?
Thanks for the video.
I made it today and it was a HIT!!! THANK YOU!
I recommend putting the mixer will it's still soupy into a oven safe dish and putting it in the oven on 325F for about 10 minutes 🙂
Hi thanks for your question. Milk is one of the ingredients in this pudding. If you have vanilla flavored milk that will work too.
IS THE milk the pudding?
Would it work if u put vanilla pudding?
Great question, Neil! You can certainly prepare this rice pudding in the same pan that you've used to cook rice. Hope you enjoy it.
This is Pakistani dessert w/o salt n butter, called kheer
yummy…though, I prefer it chilled, myself! nice to see a recipe on here that I dont have to wait 6 hours to eat!
Why can't you use the same pan you first cooked the rice in? Seems like you're dirtying an extra pan.
This is what I call Arroz con leche. Just without the egg and butter.

Hi AngieKiss02! You can do this recipe without the egg. Try substituting 2 tablespoons of cornstarch whisked together with 2 tablespoons of water for every egg called for in the recipe. Enjoy 🙂
Can I do without the egg?
To fatning :/
It is very similar! Enjoy 🙂
Is this like the Mexican version of arroz con leche??
Thanks for your question Kenzie! No you definitely don't have to add the raisins. You could omit them altogether or you could try substituting with another dried fruit such as apricots, cherries or even coconut!
That's the first time I've had all of the ingredients already in my kitchen.
