Making this for Thanksgiving 2022
I am looking forward to making the butternut squash recipe , this year.
Definitely making this!
❤
I’d like the host to relax. Maybe have a couple of drinks before filming. He seems nervous and I want him to have fun with this info he shares.
First time I’ve seen him! Loved how it felt like he explained just a little deeper maybe than others? Liked him!
I'm going to try this with an Acorn squash I have.
Interesting recipe. Will have to try this one.
Delicious 😋
I love this host! He trembles! Just tell him we love him and to relax! Keep doing your thing!

So I just found out that butternut squash were first cultivated not too long ago in Stow, Massachusetts. Which is right near my hometown of Leominster, birthplace of John Chapman aka Johnny Appleseed. This dish is a match made in heaven.
Great starter
Preheat the pan first for better browning
Thanks for captions for the Deaf
Love our new host! This dish looks delicious, and easy. I’m excited to try it.
A great combination of these fruits in a recipe! This is my kind of food!
Looks very nice! I'll try it.
I have to add to previous comment. If I want to watch cooking contests there are plenty of other (boring & uninformative IMHO options) elsewhere. PLEASE DON’T take ATK in that direction.
Quality ingredients, simple preparation and paying attention to the details can make all the difference in a recipe. This is a winner.
I'd make this!
Lawman, 😍😍
Might try this weekend thanks
What temperature is the oven at for roasting?
I don't even remember the last time I had butternut squash but I have to try this now!
Mmm I love my root veggies
Did he say what type of apple? It looked like a gala…
Looks delicious!
Would lining the sheet pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper have any effect? (Please don’t make any more reality tv contest shows!)
I like already. I like a vinaigrette here too. Only I used apple cider vinegar. Yum. 😋
Great tip (fingertip 🙂) for a measurement reference. When cutting firewood, I cut a limb, 16" long for a measurement stick.
I love these seasonal recipes. I'm cooking scallops and shrimp tonight, and this will go perfectly with it. Great job.
ATK has always been about the food. I’m leaving a comment here about the new “Next Generation” video to say that ATK should stay focused on food. I really don’t care about attitude or contests.
Coincidentally, fall is one of my 4 least favorite times of the year, as well.
Learned so much from this video✅
Will definitely try this. It looked delicious!! Thank you so much.
Lawman, have you had Elle over for dessert yet?
This looks great! I love the apple combo. I usually make a very simple version of butternut squash for thanksgiving. I’m def going to try adding this vinaigrette. Thx Lawman. We’d like to see you do more recipes.
Hi
I’m excited to try this!
This will be great to try since I have a bumper crop of butternut squash.
you can dry the seed and grow it next year or roast it to eat 😀put the salt into the oil and mix. much better distribution
Look awesome! I've got half a butternut squash in the fridge, and now I know what I'm going to do with it!
Looks good.
I'm going to make this for the holidays.
