  2. I know this is an italian-american recipe, but as an italian this is like kryptonite for superman. We don't eat spaghetti with meatballs, putting salad in the same dish with pasta is bejond weird, eating bread with pasta is bejond insane (carb+carb toghether? Seriously?). If you cook this for an italian person he will look at you and say are you kidding me? Those italians who emigrated in the USA were brainwashed by a psycho?

  3. I would love to learn to make spinach ravioli from scratch. I had it at a restaurant. He made it for me specially, due to I'm deadly allergic to pepper spices. He also made it with a tomato & cream sauce over it. It was really good. The restaurant has closed down since, due to conv19. It was a small restaurant. Sorry to see it go. Can you please help me make this please, & thank you in advance.
    P.S. There is so many foods I need to make from scratch cause of allergies. A lot of things have pepper spices in them. Can have the vegetable , just not the spices. I was looking for a substitute for the pepper spices, which are black, white, red, cayenne, purple, poultry seasoning, paprika, sage, summer savory. They are all in the pepper family. Plus I have other allergies too. But won't get into on here.

  4. I’ll try this recipe tonight! A favorite tip of mine to cook meatballs and sauce is to do them low and slow in a crockpot all day. The meatballs flavor the tomato sauce as they cook and the tomato sauce helps tenderize the meatballs and adds to their flavor. Win-win and they come out amazing. I do this before I leave for work in the morning and when I get home I just need to cook the pasta, throw together a quick salad and dinner’s on!

  5. I'll be giving this a try tonight! I always end up buying something when I watch Julia and/or ATK. So today it's the 12" non-stick pan (lid out of stock). I like to make my own bread, but haven't quite figured out how to make the soft football sized roll. The next best thing for me is to use a high hydration dough (67%) and cook the bread at very low temp to keep it less brown and softer, letting the 500F oven brown it during the garlic bread phase of the operation. Anyway, thanks for posting Julia! My Italian wife usually won't let me put onions in the sauce, but I'm hoping to distract her with the pesto meatballs, LOL.

  6. I loved the garlic bread, not so much the spaguetti sauce as it was too bland. The meatballs were tender but needed more flavor as well. Sorry I tried and followed the recipe to a T but didnt came out as I thought quite dissapointed considering so much preppings.
